The fully automatic edge protection applicator is designed for the application of edge protectors to any coil or package.

Edge protectors are made out of plastic, cardboard, wood, etc. They are positioned on the coil or package by specific mechanisms before strap feeding.

The strapping operation is performed and the strap is tensioned around the coil or package and over the edge protectors.

The application of edge protectors is fully integrated in the strapping operation.
