The fully automatic strapping machine is designed for the 45° strapping of coils through the coil eye.

With its eye horizontal perpendicular to the transport direction the coil is loaded and centred in the area of the strapping machine by the conveyor system.

The coil is adjusted in its height to the strapping machine. In a forward motion, strap guide arms are moved through the eye of the coil and in parallel outside the coil closing the strap channel on the other side of the coil. The strap is fed-in and the side mounted head moves towards the coil for sealing.

For the application of multiple straps the strapping machine rotates around the coil via a pivot point. For the simultaneous application of two straps a twin-head version is available.

TITAN provides these strapping machines with different heads for different joint types and strap qualities.

In addition, the application of coil protectors can be integrated in the strapping process. Also, a coil marking device or label applicator can be installed.
