Mannstaedt GmbH in Troisdorf specialises in forming steel into special profiles. Stacks of rolled sections up to 24 metres long must be packed securely and quickly. In the search for a solution provider that could meet the high demands placed on strapping technology, we finally prevailed and received the order.

Together with TITAN we delivered and installed the right system: A fully automatic strapping system that integrates itself into the company's packaging process. The unique feature: The TITAN strapping head of type VS12-LE-HD is oscillating freely above the package. This oscillating position always ensures ideal strap tension.

Steel strap from PWL is the obvious choice for this strapping system. TIG welding seals the strap ensuring an extremely high joint strength. Strapping three rolled sections each three times ensures a secure transport.
