The fully automatic strapping machine is designed for the horizontal strapping of coils through the coil eye.

With its eye horizontal parallel to the transport direction the coil is loaded and centred in the area of the strapping machine by the conveyor system.

The strapping frame with the head is adjusted in its height to the coil dimensions. The pivoting strap guide arms close the strap channel through the eye of the coil. The strap is fed-in and the side mounted head moves towards the coil for sealing.

Bottom rollers in the coil deposit turn the coil into the next strapping position.

TITAN provides these strapping machines with different heads for different joint types and strap qualities.

In addition, the application of coil protectors can be integrated in the strapping process. Also, a coil marking device or a label applicator can be installed.
