The fully automatic strapping machine is designed for the vertical strapping of slit coils through the coil eye. The machine is equipped with two strapping heads and two strap channel systems for simultaneous strapping.

With its eye vertical the slit coil is loaded in the area of the strapping machine and centred on a turntable.

The strapping frame with the heads is adjusted in accordance with the coil inner diameter. The vertical lances move through the coil eye and close the strap channels. The straps are fed-in and the top mounted heads move towards the coils for sealing.

For the application of multiple straps the turntable turns the coil into the next strapping position.

TITAN provides these strapping machines with different heads for different joint types and strap qualities.

Instead of two strapping heads of the same type, the strapping machine is also available with two different heads for different strap qualities in one machine. In this case the strap quality to be used for the strapping has to be selected and only one strap per strapping cycle is applied.

In addition, the application of labels can be integrated in the strapping process.
