The fully automatic strapping machine is designed for the vertical strapping of wire rod coils through the coil eye. The machine is integrated in a coil press.

With its eye vertical the wire coiled on a spool is loaded in the area of the coil press. The spool is provided with strap channels.

The strap guides of the strapping machine approach the spool strap channels and form a closed strap channel. The strap is fed through the strap channel and the side mounted head moves towards the coil for sealing.

The strapping machine is also available with two different heads for different strap qualities in one machine. In this case the strap quality to be used for the strapping has to be selected and only one strap per strapping cycle is applied.

In addition, the application of labels can be integrated in the strapping process.
