The success story of the Lenzen Group began in 1842 when Peter W. Lenzen established a cooperage in Hohenlimburg. In 1908 Paul Lenzen founded a cold rolling mill extended intensively in 1920. The construction of a new cold rolling mill in Stenglingsen was completed in 1960 before the production of packaging steel strap started in 1970. In 1986, the production of steel packaging strap started in Baoshan, China.

A big and significant step in the history of Lenzen took place in 1998 with the acquisition of TITAN Umreifungstechnik. In 2000, the first foreign subsidiary in the United States was added.

In 2007, the company started PET strap production in Goch and entered the plastic business. The introduction of the service division TITAN Care in 2014 was another important milestone in the exciting history of the Lenzen Group.

By now, we can look back on a success story that has lasted over 175 years. But looking back alone does not get you anywhere. In our thinking and acting, we rather concentrate on today and tomorrow for a future orientation of our products and services. That is the reason for our success.
